Good morning everyone! Finally back at it… Sorry I’ve dropped off my usual posting schedule. Been doing a lot of travel lately and it was challenging to blog on the go. I’ve been vlogging and sharing my trip via YouTube. So if you’d like to see that, please do subscribe here!
Slogan Tees, Flannel Top, Wide-Legged Pants & Leather Jacket
We are almost reaching the end of the year. We all know what that means – holiday season! Christmas is by far my favorite time of the year. Aside from family gatherings and lots of fun-filled (food related) activities, some of you might also be traveling!
Now, not a lot of us might put too much thought on what to wear to an airport. I usually go for maximum comfort when I travel on the airplane or even for a road trip. But here’s the thing. You can always stay comfortable while traveling in style.
Here’s what I wore to the airport:
I wore my slogan tee from Asos, with a Zara wide-legged pants. Threw on a flannel around my waist (borrowed from my sister) for some color and texture. Topped this look off with a classic leather jacket from Maje to prep for the cold when I land in Korea.
Here are some tips:
- Wear black – If all else fails, wear head to toe black. An all-black outfit is not only easy to put together, it is also very chic. This is a little trick to look pulled together even while traveling long distance.
- Textures – I always emphasize on textures. When putting together a monochrome look, always mix and match the textures. This will keep the look interesting and give it more dimension. The flannel top has patterns which add movement to my monochrome outfit. It doubles as a belt to cinch in my waist. And, if I am feeling a little cold on the airplane, I can throw on the flannel top to keep me warm as wearing the leather jacket on the airplane is not the most comfortable thing to do.
- Bring a leather jacket/faux leather jacket – Although wearing this jacket on board is not very comfortable, the leather jacket is perfect to add style to any outfit. Carry one on board if you’re visiting a cooler city/country. Throw it over your shoulders once you’ve landed and you’re ready to go!
- Athleisure – Still one of the best ways to travel. If I’m not wearing an all-black ensemble, I like to throw on a cropped hoodie and a nice sleek pair of joggers. This look is definitely simple and comfortable.
