Denim Jacket & Tivoli Fountains

We spent about a week in Rome and got a little tired of the crowd. So we spontaneously decided to hop on the subway out to Tivoli.

If you’re looking for something to do other than the usual touristy stuff, do check out Tivoli Villa d’Este. It is not too far out from Rome, and it only takes 1 day to cover the area. Villa d’Este is a B E A U T I F U L 16th century villa in Tivoli. The Italian Renaissance garden is just breathtaking. Definitely the highlight of my Rome visit. There are a few other villas around the area that is also highly recommended but it will take a bit more travelling to get there (see Villa Hadrian).

Tried the local subway! Wasn’t too difficult and the locals were really helpful.

Villa d’Este is famously known for it’s majestic fountains throughout the garden.

Wearing:
Dress: Forever 21 (old) // Belt: Topshop (old) // Jacket: Zara // Shoes: Valentino (seen in previous post) // Sunglasses: Michael Kors // Accessories: Stylenanda Earrings, Hermes Bracelets // Bag: Dior

I love styling any of my outfits with a cropped denim jacket. It works well in both cool and hot weather. Personally, I would go for denim jackets that are slightly cropped at the waist as it I generally wear a lot of high-waisted outfits (plus it makes me look taller!). Also, it gives the illusion of a smaller waistline – I mean, why not!

Currently obsessing over this Sonia Rykiel cropped jacket from The Outnet.
